Hi missbliss, wecome to the forum :). What's your current weight? I was wondering why you're starting out eating such a little amount of calories so soon. Weren't you able to lose weight on more? Usually when you start out you can get away with 1500-2000 calories, depending on your size and how you were eating before your diet, especially if you exercise.

Well..some days I can be extremely hungry and other days I dont have much of an appetite. This usually happens when I have a lot of stuff going on or am really stressed. I ate a bit more today. I try to keep within a certain range each day.

My start out weight is 398, 5'9'' height.

I used to eat fast food about 3 times a week, I used to pig out at night especially since I stay up late a lot. Lately I have been eating a lot better and increasing my water intake as well. I cut out soda completely and no candy/chips/high fructose corn syrup. I also NEVER exercised. I would only walk the distances I had to (store to car, car to store...etc) now im putting exercise into my daily routine.

Well I'm glad to see you eat more usually. You can lose your weight, in the long term, far faster if you eat more. Excellent job cutting out all the junk and empty calories! Are you doing walking or what type of exercise? Who knows, maybe in the end you'll be one of our star loses like mal or wishes, they started around your weight.

Yeah man! That's just good living! You're doing really well, so allow yourself small indulgences, otherwise you REALLY WILL fall off the wagon!

It isnt the calories that bothered me, its that im trying to avoid ALL fast food. I still reward myself, just with other things. I also usually eat more, that day was just REALLY busy with studying for finals and everything that I had no appetite.

So you see food within your caloric intake as falling off the bandwagon?

I mean, if you were to tell me that it was because fast food leads to other indulgences and you are avoiding it for that reason, I am ok. Or for health reasons (even then, there are things worse than that in terms of fast food) I would sort of accept. But you made a blanket statement of falling off the wagon and I just didn't see how it needs to be that hard on yourself.

Sounds like she ate at Subway, it's a sandwich shop here in America.

I eat there probably once a week.
