Mind Controlling the Workout

How do you guys get over your head saying you have done enough when you haven't?

Since I bought my Garmin HR Monitor things have been better but generally speaking I after a period of running at 165-175bpm I sometimes find myself running at around 155bpm thinking I am tired. When I see it on my watch I instantly speed up and am still fine

Also, I have a very high level of cardiovascular fitness so its my legs that pack in before I do. Is it recommended to just focus on weights to get over this?

If you're mentally burning out, you have the options of either powering through it (as you seem to be doing) or taking down the intensity just a notch.

And I have the same problem as you. My cardiovascular fitness tends to be through the roof compared to the amount of exercise that my leg muscles seem to be able to maintain. Weights could help, but keep up your cardio activity to train your leg muscles to be able to endure for longer.
