By reading everyone else's posts, this probably won't pertain to most of you - I've been the same size for almost 25 years, ever since my youngest son, Ben was born. I've maintained a weight of 124 - 125 lbs. Slowly but steadily the weight began to creep on, a few pounds at a time. Up to a 128, I didn't worry; 130, no sweat. 135, still OK; now I have hit 140 and none of my clothes fit. It is not only the weight that is bothering me, it is my entire body shape. I just turned 57, have always been active, but the last several years I have turned into a slug, literally. I have a Nordic Trac elliptical, a Fluidity Bar, and my good old legs for walking, but seem to lack time to do anything. My arms have turned to flab, my hips into wings, and my stomach into a pillow. I know I will never be a size 4 again - that is not my goal - but I want to tone up, firm up, and feel like my old self again. I'm using you younger chicks as inspiration for this Nana to get back in shape! Just celebrated my 35th wedding anniversary yesterday, co-own my own business with my husband and work full time. Halfmoon - name from a Janis Joplin song - (I'm generationally impaired-old hippie)
