Hi njoyable... thanks for posting!
Yeah, it's crazy. I seem to do well with the low-carb diets. Not the high-fat Atkins, but the South Beach specifically seems to keep me energized, and the food is really good, so it's nice to have things that are tasty. Like all diets, it takes some effort to cut beans, steam/ process cauliflower, prep chicken and lettuce, etc. but it's getting more routine. And pretty soon, and I am going to be able to go work in a prep-house for fine dining if my chopping skills continue to improve
.
I know the plateau is coming soon! I thought it was going to be this week, because I sat for a few days but it was encouraging to see the scale drop this morning. I know that moving my 220 pound body a month ago, took much more energy than moving my 203 pound body today, so I am going to have to incrimentily increase the amount that I work out/ excersise to maintain the same progression w/ weight loss!
I also did something a little bit different this time. Last time, I went all or nothing with the weight loss. Went to the gym for freakin' hours at a time. After a month, I did great weight-wise but was killed and burnt out. This time I am taking it progressively. I started with the eating, and have been working in the exercise. I have always loved the gym, but now I am 30 years old and it's been several years since I was big time, clearly I was not ready last time I was at the gym!
Thanks again for the support, I'm just going to keep on keeping on!
