"Meat-Sandwiches" for weight loss?

I am looking for a listing of different "meat-Sandwiches" that weightwatchers eat, I know of Baked or oven rosated turkey and chicken, are there any other types of "meat", maybe sausages or so that will work? Also, Any other "breads" besides wholewheat? Thanks.

Sandwich wise, I basically only eat chicken and turkey. I normally only use real chicken/turkey breast, because with the cold cuts, you don't know what they put might in there. I occasionally use multi-grain bread, but about 80% of the time I use 100% whole wheat. You could also have Tuna sandwiches, but without the mayo.

With ww you can eat any meat that you like as long as its low fat. I wouldn’t recommend sausages unless you make your own with lean meat. I make steak sandwiches with salad (no fat, cooked with cooking spray) its yum and also healthy.

ok guys, been away for a few days, read your posts a few minutes ago and will have questions which I post back here soon so please watch this thread for me. I want to think carefully about your answers before asking my questions, give me a day or two, stay tuned, thanks.

I would like to use the bread that Subway uses in it's sandwiches but was told they bake their own bread, does anyone know of a bread that's close to Subway's bread?

Getting back to "Tuna" sandwiches, why can't a person use "light" mayo? Or is there any mayo at all that can be recommended?

As for Subway you can find similar breads if you go to a bakery. even grocerie stores have a good selection now a days in the bakery section (not off the shelves in the bagged bread aisle)

you can use light mayo, light miracle whip, ultra light miracle whip, there all ok normal mayo is full of fat but if you count it in your daily cals, theres no reason why you cant use it.i do a light mayo/mustard mix for my tuna. but if you go to a sub/sandwich place they usually use the regular stuff and lots of adding many extra calories,

(subway calorie info for those who are interested )

Well, you can use mayo if you want. It's just about preferance. As smiley says, regular mayo does have a ton of fat, and the Subway people use a lot of it, so it's probably like 20g of fat/sandwich. Light mayo has less fat, so it would be better to use. I prefer to stay away from mayo. That's just my personal preferance.

omg i dint know subway even had mayo! i thought it was all about offering healthy choices. i had a sandwich there but had some kind of honey mustard stuff. lol i have only eaten there once. but they asked me how much i wanted and im sure if you ordered a sanwich with mayo requesting very skimpy on the mayo that they would comply.

while I don't think that subway offers mayo, if you are home and making tuna or chicken salad sandwiches, try using non-fat yogurt instead!! it will give it a nice tang, and it is sooo much healthier... I juse yogurt now instead of mayo and sour cream....
