Hi, all. I'm Andy, I live in London and I've always been pretty big.

I can't remember a time I've been skinny but I want to see a healthy future for myself.

I weigh 252lbs as of today and my target is 190lbs. I'm 6ft3 so this puts me at a healthy weight. I've just recovered from a ruptured ligament that, although was done playing football, wasn't helped by my weight.

Any encouragement or advice is welcome and hopefully by the end of 2010 I'll have some nice before and after photos to show you.

I'm actually just coming to the end of my recovery so exercise is pretty minimal so I'm being very strict with what I am eating. Keeping a log, portion control etc.

I have just bought an exercise bike though which I will be using when I am back to full fitness.

Its going to be hard as I've always been pretty lazy but if I can set up my bike and my laptop and watch something as I go I can set myself targets in relation to the show! I thought of it as a new way to spur yourself on ie. I can't watch the next episode of The Wire unless I'm on my bike.
