ok guys, I could use some help here. For the diet evaluation project we were doing in school, we had to track our cal intake for 2 dys...get an average of those 2 dys and compare it to the goals we were supposed to be meeting...in percentage form. So how do I figure out that percentage???

For example, i was 'supposed' to consume 2926 in cals, but my average for the 2 dys was 1806...what was the % of my actual cals verses my goal cals..make sense???

Supposed calories - actual calories = difference

Difference/Supposed calories * 100 = percent. for your deficit

Actual/supposed * 100 = percentage of your goal

2926-1806 = 1120

1120/2926 * 100 = 38.27%

actual/goal
1806/2926 = 61.72 percent of your goal calories...
