Martial Arts style Phliosiphy

Well as you may know the martial arts has many phliosiphy's as well meaning. For instance are school our Kancho based on Mu-shin-do which literally means way of the empty mind. His style was to not think but just do as it does take time to realize it works. As for our kancho his teacher Mas Oyama went around the world proving his philosiphy which was like ours is today to clear your mind worked and proved it the greatest when fighting one on one against a real live breathing bull when he meditated and right before the bull went loose he got out of the meditated state and fought around with the bull for around ten seconds after grabing the horns he fights with it more when untill the bull is in Mas Oyamas control when he then lets go of one horn and chops the horn right off the bull instantly killing it. Would anyone else like to share there arts philosiphy on there are I am instreasted in finding what different ones for schools are.

"Chops the horn right off the bull instantly killing it."

Is it possible that the bull was indeed a mechanical bull, and the guy running it turned it off right as he cut off the horn? I have seen that happen in the bar lots of times. True story.

Please don't get me wrong as Im not bashing your philosophy or style, but every martial arts system strives for mushin, not just yours. Without the concept of mushin, martial arts wouldn't work. If you have to think, you're defeated.

The philosophy of Shotokan karate is very simple. Master Funakoshi wanted his students and himself to perfect their character through physical and mental training.
