Weight-Loss March Madness Miles!! (or Krazy Kilometers)

The deal is simple:
  1. Set your goals for miles or kilometers to run/walk/hike/row/swim/unicycle for the month of March.
  2. Meet those goals.
  3. Brag about meeting those goals.

My goal is to row a total of 106.6 mad miles in March:
  • March 7 Goal = 25.2 miles
  • March 14 Goal = 50.4 miles
  • March 21 Goal = 75.6 miles
  • March 28 Goal = 100.9 miles
  • March 31 Goal = 106.6 miles
 
Since I have chosen to use my stationary bike, I will take up the riding challenge.

My Goals are set below, I will come back weekly to give a progress either :hurray: means I made it or :angelsad2: means I didn't.

March 7: 30
March 14: 60
March 21: 90
March 28: 120
March 31: 132

I only run about twice a week, but also hoping to do some hiking so I'll join but my miles won't be terribly high.
I think I'm going to go with 8 a week. I think I should likely do more than that but as I do other workouts that don't involve going really anywhere that I can't stop, I'm just gonna try for that goal.

Wishing I'd set a slightly lower goal, I missed a couple days of rowing before I made this thing, and I have some catching up to do...

Oops. I totally forgot that the difference between the last 2 dates is only a couple days, not a week like the rest. Will leave my goal as it is though and see if I can push it a bit to make all the miles.

:cry: fell down yesterday while house cleaning, hit my knee on the way down. the swelling has subsided a bit but it is still warm to touch. I don't think I will make my quota this week as I don't want to aggravate the knee anymore and end up in the emergency room.

So good luck everyone. I hope you all meet your quotas this week. I am giving my knee a rest for about 3 more days, or at least until its cool to the touch and not as painful..

I forgot about the walk to and from yoga. Added 3/4 miles for that.
 
A bit late to the party, but a great idea!

My goal is to run a total of 55 miles in March:

March 07 Goal = 13.3 miles (That's actual not a goal)
March 14 Goal = 25 miles 29.05 goal +4.05 miles thanks to my first 10K (6.2 miles)
March 21 Goal = 38 miles
March 28 Goal = 51 miles
March 31 Goal = 55 miles

Updated total: 3/14/2015 29.05 miles

Staying ahead of the curve which is good because I won't likely get in any running between the 27th and the 31st as I will be at the horse show. I will be doing LOTS of walking, but just here and there at the show, nothing dedicated or really measurable.

I don't think I'm going to meet my target this week, but I'm hoping to keep a head of steam to make up for it the following week.

As predicted, I missed last week, but I have a recovery plan to make it up this week, fairly easily, too, I think.

Crikey, another missed week! I didn't row yesterday, I'll row today, though (basically swapping rest days), and I'll meet the goal for the month.

Did it! April's will be a little tougher - gonna have to stay on top of rowing all month, and probably through in a few spare miles here and there when I can.
