Looking great in both the before AND after pics tbh. I feel you on the boob issue. I wish I could just snip my fingers and have them three sizes smaller (but without becomin saggy!).

Hahaha wouldn't that be amazing!! I've been thinking about a breast reduction forever, if I finally get to my goal and I'm still busting out of a G cup I think it might be time. So expensive though. Like a very expensive snap of my fingers lol.

You look great in all of the photos, Lucy!

Thanks Cate!

Hi Lucy! Amazing progress keep it up!!

Thanks Topaz! I always wish progress was faster but its good seeing how far I've come (though very slowly haha).

Its been raining and storming the last few days, I was lucky walking to and from the dentist yesterday I stayed dry! Its a half hour each way so that was my walk. I'm going back in two qeeks when my braces are off for a clean and an xray.

Didn't get up to much else yesterday, watched the new episode of Great British Bake off last night when Ash got home. Noel Fieldings hair cut is tripping me out haha.

Ash had to run around and grab some bits n pieces after work for work tomorrow so I tagged along which is why I got the extra steps and the coffee (I'd eaten 1500 and I was starving by the time we left, knew I wouldn't sleep without something extra). I bought this amazing mug while we were out, I crack up every time I look at it.

Yes, it has legs and the handle is a tail lol.

Also got a couple of parcels, got a few bits from Catch and Iherb.

I really like the other Maxine's bar flavours that I have so trying another one. Also trying edamame pasta similar to the black bean stuff I already eat, it's a lot cheaper on there than their actual website.

Iherb I got xanthan gum to make protein fluff as I can't find anywhere here that sells it anymore, and agar agar to make a protein pudding recipe I used to eat all the time. This recipe if you're interested, just add protein when you blend it.

Hey Lucy, I think you look amazing in all the pictures. I mean, is that really a ''before'' picture? In my mind, you look healthy and fit there but I understand that everyone has a size that they know is right for them and I support that.

I have big boobs too, really hard to dress, and that is why we want to get rid of them, but I think men still like them! Of course, it's not all about them, but sometimes that opinion is valid! I think you look great.

I think Noel Fielding is class, but those sideburns...

That cup is amazing. And fudge is the food of the gods, so I´m not going anywhere near it or I´ll scoff the lot.

I think the first pic is more a "during" than a before. I've been a lot bigger than that. I think my feelings on that pic are heavily influenced by my family though, I went home feeling smaller than I had in a LONG time and had comments about my weight from my parents and my obese grandmother trying to give me weight loss tips. Everyone in my family is teeny though (height wise too) so I always feel clunky in comparison.

I adore Noel Fielding, but I agree his side burns are outta control!!

Can confirm, the bars were good. Super fudgey.

Fitbit has me at a 355 calorie deficit.

Yesterday was definitely a day I just wanted to eat all the things. I did manage to stop myself from getting food delivered but that's why the food is so snacky and all over the place. Definitely tiredness, my sleep hasn't been great this week. Actually last night was good but now I feel more tired than yesterday lol. I got extra steps yesterday as I had to duck into the shop for some strawberries (they were crap so wasted trip).

It's raining so that's annoying, might have to walk a bit later than usual today.

Fatigue is my number one enemy in the battle against unhealthy food. Well done not getting take away!

Me too, fatigue is the hugest binge trigger for me. It's the worst. Things that made me fatigued get me too, like if I need to take anti-histamines or I don't have enough carbs. It equals disaster lol.

Thought I'd duck in and catch up on diaries, but also thought I would post as I made THE BEST chicken ever. I don't know why I never used my air fryer for meat before but I just decided to do it and it was SO GOOD.

It even looks fried! I just spritzed it with my coconut oil spray and rolled it in salt and pepper and peanut flour. It was actually amazing. I think I'll add garlic powder and paprika to the coating next time. Oh and I ate it dipped in aioli. Yummmmmm. Only issue is I can't cook awesome chicken and enjoy it with awesome chips because I need the air fryer for both lol.

Fitbit gives me a 608 calorie deficit.

My knee bothered me a lot yesterday, so annoying. I've spent months building up my quads/VMOs so my knees don't misalign but for whatever reason (and it's always been the case) my left quad, no matter how much I build up the inner muscles, the outside always ends up overpowering them. Ahhh. Going to add back in a few of the easier exercises I was doing every day till it stops stabbing me I guess. Thought I was past this.

My back has been amazing though, I actually have days where I feel normal (if normal was very stiff and cautious lol). Still some things I have trouble doing though and I'm not sure if it's mental or I am still stiffer than I think- a big one is using two hands to put things in the oven. I always feel like I need to put one hand on my thigh for balance/support. Same with getting larger appliances out from a lower shelf, I have issues just grabbing it with both hands (even though squats aren't an issue).

Progress is still being made I guess is what I'm saying, maybe I'll get out of my head more when I'm visiting family and get a job when I get back so I'll return to normal movement patterns over time too.

Yea! Just rolled it in seasoning and threw it in. Took 15mins because it doesn't need to preheat.
Now I´m seriously starting to think about buying an airfryer... I could call it a birthday present, even :p
My left leg has a similar problem (I just have to work on it on and off, biking with an eye on symmetric load and knee alignment helps for me when it´s acute). Do you happen to lean into one hip when you have to stand somewhere for a couple of minutes? That´s a thing I see in my clients that seems to make it worse.

That chicken looks amazing. For some reason, I thought you were a vegetarian, but guess not.

I think it's probably wise to be cautious with your back, but I think when you are out in the world a bit more, you won't be as conscious of it, and by that stage, you probably won't need to be.

I typically lean on my right as I've had the misalignment issues for close to 10 years now and the right knee always responds to exercises within a couple of days but the left knee is always an issue no matter what I do. I am pretty sure it's muscle tightness/ imbalances that don't seem to really go away (actually though my knees are probably the best they've been in years). My whole left quad is more developed than the right too, I've had multiple physios comment on it over the years and I'm doing way more single leg exercises now I'm stronger but I don't know. The glute on that side also activates way better during exercise but I have to concentrate on making it work when I walk- I have a mental cue 'walk with your hips' to make sure my glutes are leading instead of my quads which also seems to help VMO activation. It's just frustrating it seems to come naturally to the right but not the left.

It was actually a LOT better today after adding back in one of the beginner exercises again that had been switched out for something much harder so I might add it back in my daily routine.

Also- YES get an air fryer! I got a cheap end of range one, not a fancy one. It literally has 3 buttons- chips, meat, vegetables. It's a round thing with a rotating paddle in the middle so everything gets evenly crispy. I might chuck some veg in there and see how that goes.

Hahahahaha I'm a huuuuuuge meat eater. I usually eat meat at least once a day, sometimes twice if I'm not being lazy like I have been this week.

Yea I'm super conscious with my back, any time I do something I haven't done for a while I get stiffness until I get used to it too so it's just getting back into practice with things. Pretty sure when I start job hunting it'll be for something behind a desk lol.

Fitbit gives me a 625 calorie deficit.

Yesterday was a pretty chill day, I was pretty tired so after getting through my usual exercise stuff we did nothing till the arvo. Went to the movies in the afternoon and watched A simple favour which I actually liked more than I thought I would! Was going to make lasagna for dinner last night but was feeling way too lazy so got a protein bar for the trip home and had yogurt and strawberries lol. Feeling super bloated and blah actually, wasn't really hungry at all but I don't like my deficits to be too extreme so I don't binge.

I got up at 5 am this morning to get my pilates and walk in before my appointment at 9 to get my braces off!! In the car on the way there, I'm being driven today as I've taken a bunch of painkillers and 10mg of diazepam so I don't freak out as getting your brackets removed hurts like a bitch. I've had a few moved over the course of my treatment and they make you bite down on a stick to counteract the pressure of them forcing off the brackets. It's pretty unpleasant. I can feel everything kicking in now, hoping I won't fall asleep on the way hahahaha. No big plans for the day, will make lasagna when we get back as I already got the mince out to defrost for yesterday. Going to try to have normal meals today and tomorrow since food has been kind of whatever this week, get some more veg in too. I did have an extra snack this morning too as I ate brekki at 5, so had a post workout snack at about 7.30, then will have something small when I get home around 11 before cooking lunch.

Looking forward to this appointment being over!!! We have to make the trip down again tonight though to pick up my night time retainers, will have permanent ones fixed this morning and moulds taken for my nighttime guards. Sucks as we are stuck in peak hour traffic on the motorway now and will be in the same position tonight, urgh. Makes the normally 20-30min drive take an hour.

Did I mention I really don't like diazepam? I got a huge prescription months ago when my back would have uncontrollable spasms and haven't used many. I don't drink as I hate the feeling of losing control, its very anxiety inducing to me. So the period between the drugs starting to settle in and when they're working and I actually feel chill is really stressful for me. Lol anti anxiety meds kick me off.

YAY for having your braces off today, Lucy! I hope you cope OK with the pain, but I think it will be worth it :grouphug:
You just posted. Another hug for good measure- :grouphug:

Thanks Cate, feeling pretty high and chill now the drugs have kicked in. Which is good as we are stuck in traffic which would normally stress me out but I'm very whatever about it hahahaha. Can't wait to go home and sleep this off, I think its half life is 6 hours so I'm going to be a dope until into the afternoon. Think Ash will be helping me with making lasagna for lunch lol.
