lower back muscle strain? AGAIN?

I was just playing squash.. after one good hour of workout i wanted to stretch, so when i was stretching my calves, sitting on the floor trying to reach your toes, i think i strained my lower back.. is this normal when doing that stretch? it has happenes before, just not as bad as now.. it really hurts bending over and stuff. I was wondering how i can prevent it? is my back just very stiff and cant handle that stretch or what? :S

the stretch you mentioned does mildly stretch the back to a certian extent though its not normal to strain the back

if its happned before maybe you should look for an alternative exercise
look at what other have to say :)
 
yeah, im defnitly not gonna do that stretch again.. but im wondering if this could be something serious to worry about? i seem to strain my back alot :S
 
I'm not sure but your back must be either too weak or too tight

i guess its too tight since you been training hard with those deads

maybe you can ease into some stretch exercises for your back
or
you get back to basics and do some basic strength work for you back
thats just my opinion

i still workout my back.. so, you think that my back just is stiff and therefor getts strained easily? anyone else thinks the same? any anyone got some good stretches for the lower back? i cant seem to find any that works for me :S
