A little history on me. I quit smoking 8 months ago and added 15lbs to my already overweight body. I had a goal of quitting smoking and getting into shape before I turned 40. I have til December to get to my goal.
I started going to the gym 5 days a week and doing 20 mins of weight training and then 30 minutes on the treadmill, elliptical or bike.
I did not weigh myself till today and I have lost only 2 lbs. I was shocked I feel bigger (muscle) stronger and leaner. But I had only lost 2lbs. I was waiting till my pants started to get loose but it never happened.
I have changed my diet some but I guess not enough. I thought doing this much exercise would help in the weight loss but no in 10 weeks. I am going to have to really focus on eating right from this point forward.
I am six one and 250lbs now and would like to be 215lbs.
