Lost 77lbs since feb15th 07

Man !!I have dropped from 287lbs down to 210lbs since feb 15th, just by educating myself on foods and stickin to it !!I feel great!!:hug2:
 
Number 1, is to be honest with yourself, and want ta make the change,for your self not somebody else,
2. Look at what you eat and how much you eat,
No cokes, gatorade, etc, I drink at least 6 sixteen oz of water each day,I use a flavor like cystal light and use 1/2 a 39cent pack per bottle of water, No bread,pasta ,rice brown or white,I have 2 eggs for breakfast and a strip of bacon or 1 sauage patti,with tomato slices, only if Iam hungry if Iam not hungry I don't eat, Or a Bowl of bran flakes,
3. plenty of veggies,green beans,califlower etc, sometimes for lunch a hamburger patti no bread, with cheese and veggies
4. fruit, berries strawberries, honey dew, blue berries, a little water melon,
5. No Caffine
6. When I do eat when I fill satisfied I stop
7. Iam not on a diet,!!Iam changing my lifestyle this is the way I think,diet sounds temp. this is a permanate change
8. I don't eat ate any resturant,only fresh food I prepare at home,
9.snacks are fruit, veggies, cheese, and sometimes a glass of merlott!!
 
Last friday night I was gettin dressed for my show,Now I have nuttin ta wear that don't look like a clown costum on me!! I noticed my fav, shirt hidden in the back of the closet,I had not touched in 10 years!! a purple silk collarless bell sleeve,nice and floppy, I puleed it down dusted off the shoulders, held my breath and tride ta fit in it!!!HELL YES FIT BEAUTIFUL!!!!:eek2: YEAH BABY!!!man you don't know how good that made me feel!!!!thats what I wore!!! FOOD DON"T TASTE AS GOOD AS SKINNY FEELS!!!!!
 
So basically you are on the atkins diet. So you're not going to eat bread ever again?
Way to go btw, those are some impressive results.
 
No Iam on my Grannys old eatin routine, Iam just remembering how my granny fed us when we were young and goin back ta that, I may eat bread at times but you have ta have a equal balence, you can't eat bread and potatoes, breakfast lunch and dinner!!FOR GOD SAKES!!!there are other things in life ta eat!!!can't eat twinkies for breakfast either!!THATS BREAD!!I had a snickers bar yesterday!! WHY CUZ I could,Ive lost 79.4lbs so far but I won't eat one today!!catch my drift????
I work as a project manager.mostly behind a desk!!but I do an average of 2 gigs a week and that is a lotta work, and I parked my golf cart and walk,and parked my ridin mower and push one instead!!
 
Cmon! stuco, don't be mean, I have stopped all bread and pasta ,I don't want or need it, But Iam not saying Iwill never ever not eat bread or pasta again, what Iam saying it will never be my main staple of life as it was before! thats one reason I blew up like a pig!!
 
Sorry, didn't mean to be a smart a$$. I hear you, if we all cut down on the breads/pastas etc I think we'd see a big difference. There is just too much of it in the average person's diet.
 
Thats exactly correct, Like a friend asked, or said he could not live without eatin a potato!! my reply was, I love potatos too but if you eat them for breakfast, large fries for lunch and mashed potatos for dinner thats not good!!
But that is the key, you have to use common sense to loose weight, I see lots of people that what ta eat there french fries and take a pill !!THAT won't happen, for me Iam doing just what I told you when I stop loseing for a couple days I look at what and how much Iam eating and adjust items and portions till I start dropping more, My Goal was 225, and Iam 15lbs below that now, WhenI reach 200, I will add some potatos, or bread and see how much I can handle without gaining back lbs and adjust everything to where Iam stable at that weight, Now there is no magic!!tonic pills or diet, its up to you to take charge of your self, I weigh every morning and everynight before bed so I can keep close watch on myself and understand the results of my actions each day!!
 
Weighed in at 208 this morning!!whooohoooo, thats 79lbs down da drain!!!!Iam havein ta look at wrinkles in my 36in pants!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
thats great. ive cut out bread /rice/ pasta completely out of my diet too theyre unessecary calories that come conjoined with other evil high calorie things i.e mayo.
I havent had any of those things in months and im lookin much better for it.

but definately well done!
 
:doh: Man now everybody is tellin me NOT!!to loose anymore,I will be to skinny!!!! BS!! I want ta crawl thru a drain pipe!!NOT!! really, but being told Iam to skinny is a change for sure!!
