Hi!

I just recently started a channel on youtube to lose weight and track my progress.. I thought it would be nice to keep a video "diary" of my journey and hopefully it will inspire others and help them!

I'm not going to lie.. I also need some motivation... so maybe we can feed off each other's motivation? hehe...

Here's the video if you want to watch me and subscribe! :)

I've lost 35 pounds so far but I still have about a 100 pounds to lose...

Just watched your video Antoine!

It takes so much courage to open yourself up like that and to post a video like that on youtube, so good for you! and congratulations on going under the 300 mark :) I have 100 pounds to lose myself! Started a diet a few days ago. Everyone on this website is very warm and very encouraging so I'm sure you will find the weight loss buddies you're looking for! a lot of your video really hit home for me, i definitely cringe when seeing pictures/videos of myself- I try NOT to see them. nothing would be better than feeling confident when you see yourself on video or in pictures. The most important thing though is that you're losing weight for yourself and not for anyone else!

You should think about starting a journal/diary in the "weight loss diary" category on this forum. It's so helpful to keep track of what you eat. and to share when you've had a good or bad day :) Nice to meet you and look forward to keeping up with your progress!

Well done Antoine! In addition to the great people on this forum you might want to consider an 'online mentor'. I started a company (helphub.com.au) about 6-7 weeks ago to allow people to connect with high quality health experts online. It is an Australian based site but we have around 18 experts covering nutritionists, dietitians, naturopaths, counselors, personal trainers. You can view blogs for free or customise a request to any one of these experts - by customise, I mean you control who you send it to, what detail you need, when you need a response and ultimately how much you pay...).

It is only early days for HelpHub but we're already seeing it help a bunch of people which is fantastic!
