3 weeks ago i realized that i had gained a lot of weight. Simply from eating at the wrong time; night. However, that wasn't the only problem. My diet consisted of mostly fast food and processed microwavable dinners..all really high in fat.

So, with cutting out all food 3-4 hours before bed, and eating healthier by limiting my fat intake i lost 20 lbs. Without any exercise.

Now i'm not saying YOU won't need exercise to lose weight, but diet is the biggest mountain you have to get over. If you have a high metabolism, you just need to learn how to get it going, but some arent blessed with that and exercise may have to play a big part in your weight loss.

Also, this low carb high protein crap is b.s. You need carbs..dont worry about any macronutrients except fat , pay more attention to calorie intake.

Later guys, good luck.

Congrats on your success!!

Yeah we definitely need some carbs but I like to get more of my calories from protein and fiber than fat and sugar. Those foods are usually lower-cal anyway. That's been working really well for me but I'm glad to hear that your lifestyle change worked. It's awesome when you can figure out what you're doing wrong!

I'm a night eater too, that's when I get my worst cravings so I try to fill up on veggies, fruit, and some carbtype foods during the day for when I work out and then I can eat some yummier food at night :)

I am trying to lose 20lbs by august 15th! I have lost 5 lbs so far!I don't know if I will make the full 20! Thats awesome that you did that!
I have hard time not eating at night! It's been a struggle, BUT it is worth it. I have also stopped eating after about 7 no later than 8pm, because I stay up late anyways! It is hard though sometimes!
I also have been choosing much healthier food, little to no sugar, only water and fat free milk, low fat stuff or no fat stuff, low calorie, and I eat a lot still, not portion wise but throughout the day. I don't want people to think I'm starving myself, becaue NO WAY!! NEVER! I just choose better things! YAY, So since I have done that, I have lost 5lbs. Awesomeness, yeah and my pants aren't as tight!:jump:

If you are over-weight by a good amount, the first slew of pounds is always the easiest FOR ME at lest.

It's just tougher after that initial weight loss to keep it up.

I have lost 20 pounds easy but now the weight is struggling to come off AND I run every other day
