Hi, I have been reading this forums for some days. It has a lot of information and I am trying to apply that information to my daily life. Also, I got a lot of questions to ask. First, this is my story.
At the end of June I decided to change my style of life. I was eating a lot of junk food and had an irregular pattern of meal schedules. Most of the times I skipped breakfast because I was too lazy to do it. Suddenly I realised that my belly was growing withot stop, that made me take a decision. This was my information at the end of June.
Weight: 198lbs = 90kgs
Height: 170cm = 5 feet 7 inches
Fat Percentage : 27%
After that, I decided to goto a gym and to a nutritionist. I only did cardio for 1 hour and a half 3 days per week and followed the diet I was given each week. I did not follow the advice to lift weights. I am new to the gym so all those weight machines are unknown to me, I am trying to change that now. My information up to this date is:
Weight : 169 lbs = 76.6kgs
Fat Percentage : 21%
I will start to do weights now because I look very flascid. Although looking the exercises suggested in this forum means nothing for me since the names are unfamiliar for me
Now I believe my ideal weight is 154lbs or 70kgs. I thought I would had less fat at this point, but 21% for a 15lbs overweight is right? Is there a relation between weight and fat percentage? My goal is to have a flat belly, with my abs a bit marked, so I am aiming for 12% fat.
