hi all,
this is Justina, living in Spain.
i m so glad to have found this cool and helpful website.
I have read some really good things - and i hope i can help others too.
here are my basic stats:
i m 29 yrs old girl, i m 5 8 tall (175cm)
In july, 2008:i weighed 276 lbs (19st 10 - 125.2kg)
now: i weigh 224 lbs (16st - 101.6kg)
it seems like i lost this weight in 2, 5 years - but actually i lost the weight in 3 parts - alltogether i d say in about 6 months.
i just sometimes stay very long time at a certain weight. maybe because my lifestyle changed (i lived in Italy for a while -and went out a lot - i didnt lose much weight - but sort of managed to keep it)
When i moved to Spain i didnt know many people - so i could only concentrate on myself - again lost some weight.
But when i started socializing again - i just stopped losing wieght again.
luckily i didnt put much back on. only over Christmas periods - and when i m on holiday - then i managed to lose it again. so all in all it was a graduate weight loss.
Now i m determined to finish what i began in 2008 and i dont wanna let my social life to stop me.
My first goal is to reach 192 lbs (13st 10 - 87.1kg) by easter.
Funny enough i dont have a final goal weight in mind. I usually do look good and happy at around my easter goal weight) so I think i see how i feel then.
and also i m concerned about my skin a little. So far its been ok - behaving itself - and i do everything in my power to keep it that way (without surgery):
-I do a lot of excecize
-i use special creams /coco oil
- i take vitamin E, omega 3
- i follow a healthy balanced diet - trying to include food that have special benefits for the skin (brazil nuts, spinach, cherimoya, sesame seeds etc)
- drink a lot of water
well i think this sums my last 2 and half yrs up really.
