Losing fat/weight in thighs?

Hello! I just have a few questions about losing weight in thighs... I will tell you about myself 1st though.

I'm 5'8 3/4 and weigh 170 pounds with 22% body fat. I used to be 330 pounds and probably 80% body fat lmao. I lost all the weight in bout 7 years but my thighs havent gotten to the correct size.

1. Cardio as in riding bike or treadmill is best way to lose it correct?
2. Any foods i should avoid like carbs? any foods i should eat?
3. Should i be doing squats with dumb bells?
4. Any exercises that you guys know will be greatly appreciated

I know you really cant target a specific part to lose fat in but my whole body looks normal except my thighs. My stomach is not good but thats a whole other issue.

THANKS!

Thank you very much. I will try it out :D

Do swimming, walking and jogging. Swimming is one of the best exercise to burn fat from your body. Carbs are important for your body because it gives energy to your body but don't take these things in excess.

Swimming and running on treadmill is one of the best practise that you can opt as, it is something that is actually very beneficial for maintaining better health.

Thanks

Running & swimming is best exercise to burn fat from your body. Its reduce the extra calories of your body.

As you've gotten pretty good answers to your first question, I will continue with the others:

2. Any foods i should avoid like carbs? any foods i should eat?
Some people choose to just pretty much stop eating carbs, and they've gotten some great results from it. In my opinion, this is not the way to go. As long as you 1) Expend more calories than you consume and 2) stay away from saturated fat (e.g. fast food) and bad carbs (e.g. sugar) you will lose weight. Even if you choose to lose weight by lifting weights or not, you need a high protein intake. Also, instead of eating 3 meals a day, try to spread them out and eat 5-6 meals a day. This will speed up your metabolism.

3. Should i be doing squats with dumb bells?
Squat is a excellent excercise, one of my favorites. You should definitely squat. I prefer using a bar, but using dumb bells should have pretty much the same effect as far as I know. Note that you will put on some muscle mass on your legs by squatting, just like your biceps will grow by doing biceps curl. Now, shut up and squat! ;)

4. Any exercises that you guys know will be greatly appreciated

Weight training (this is good for burning calories too!):
Bench press (with bar or dumb bells)
Squat (with bar or dumb bells)
Deadlift
Chins/Pullups
Dips

Cardiovascular exercises:
Swimming
Running
Biking
Jumping rope
The Stairmaster
The Elliptical

To add to the above- carbs do not make you gain or retain weight- calories do. Figure out your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) with a calculator that takes into account activity level (Harris Benedict Equation), and subtract 300-500 calories from that. For most people, cutting more cals than that will slow the metabolism too much and possibly lead to muscle loss. Divide your macronutrient ratios into 20-30% protein/50-60% carbs/20% good fats, and you can plan your meals. Is this a lot of work? Yes, but the results are undeniable. Good luck!

There are numerous diet plans are available today, main is which suits you to follow. Lots of people trying to lose weight have been on numerous diets and have tried just about every fad diet that has been around. I'm following my routine plan which includes- Exercise, yoga and main Hoodia diet pills. With all these I took for easy and safe weight loss. Even you can use these pills as they are completely natural and no side effects..
As I already said it's all depend whether it suits you or not..
And yes thanks for your informative tips also..

The problem with Hoodia- or any appetite suppressant- is that for many people, once they start "dieting," they restrict their calories too much already, and the additional appetite suppressant does more harm than good. Figure out your BMR first, subtract the calories to lose weight, THEN use something only if you need it. For what it is worth, 1500mg of liquid L Carnitine first thing in the morning on an empty stomach is more effective for reducing body fat.

Hey there! I would up the cardio (running, jump rope, etc) but try to do HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) as it burns fat faster. I love the hip adductor/abductor for my inner and outer thighs. You should also do a leg press and extension for the quads/hamstrings. Hope this helped! :)

Hi! How about doing a sport such as triathlon. The training for this is enough for you to shed off some extra fat and build up muscles. This does not only target the thigh area, but also other parts of the body.

Losing fat,you avoid to take a fat food,do exercise it burn your fat like walking, swimming, running this will really work, and in every-day meal you take a juice, fruit, vegetables is a best for you take a lemon water after a meal is a best for you reduce a fat,you try it really work.

I would also like to add that lunge exercises and squats can help tone the thigh muscles. Inclined brisk walking in treadmills can also tone the thighs and the glute areas.
