Hi. I am new to this website and have a big question! I am sick of feeling heavy, tired, binge eating, and tight in my clothes. I am about to make some lifestyle choices like eating healthier and smaller portions, and getting active. I do want to lose weight, but my main goal is to just become more physically fit. I have a very busy life though with two jobs. I do not have a lot of time during the day, so most days if I decide to buy membership at a gym, it will have to be late at night after working all day or early in the morning before work (therefore, probably a 24 hour gym). I thought I would be doing this because I know the gym has a lot to offer and I will become more fit, however, I am worried that I will not stay motivated enough to use the gym often enough. I am contemplating buying a wii from ebay or walmart (whichever has a better deal) and play games such as Just Dance 1-4, Zumba Fit, the sports games, and more to use as my workouts. I know that I can work up a sweat if I play them for say 30-60 minutes. I love playing these games when I am at my friends' places. I am curious if anyone else plays these games as their workout, and does it work??? I understand any kind of movement will help...but I am trying to compare the gym to these games. I don't want to spend the money to buy a wii and the games just to not have it help me enough, but I don't want to buy a membership to the gym and not use it enough. Help! I would love to hear of success stories for either side of this debate! Let me know what you did!
