Hi everyone.

For my own reasons I have finally obtained the motivation to get too my ideal weight, and remove mainly my stomach fat(or at least reduce it). While eating is a problem for me, I'm able to manage that myself, and it won't take much work to eat the right way.

Now, what I need is an easy work out I could do every single day. I do not have access to a gym until my father starts back at work, and then I can use the gym at his work. Until then I will have to sedddale for working out without the use of machines, and rely only on at-home exsercies.

What is a good weight loss workout to burn stomuch fat, and drop from 230(I never seem to gain or loose more then 5 pounds,EVER) pounds to 150(my ideal weight). After this I will work on building my muscle, but I really want too loose this fat I have carried around far too long. I come from a family with problems with weight gain, and I really need to start feeling better about myself, so I can stop being so depressed, and allowing the weight to burden my relationship.

Please help! I'm aiming for a 2-4 month program that will remove a majority of the fat, and get me too my ideal weight. Thank you for listining!

I think a good plan for you might be to start running. You can start with walking if you haven't ever really been a runner. Just start with walking 1 mile, and gradually increase to .5 every 4-5 days. After a week or 2 of walking, I'd say start jogging at a comfortable pace. It doesn't have to be fast, but just get into a rythm and slowly you can push yourself to run more. Also you can do knee lifts at home. Lift your knees high, one at a time, and alternate knees and count to 100 on each side. You can do jumping jacks, sit-ups. Just make yourself be active for 30-60 minutes everyday. If your house has stairs, run up and down the stairs 10 times. There is lots you can do, I'll be here to support you! I'm trying to start a weight loss challenge (see my thread) - if you are interested, we can do this together!

2-4 months is too short a time to lose all the weight, yet you can lose quite a bit in that time. If you apply yourself you'll notive a huge improvment in terms of how you feel, look, and your energy levels.

A couch to 5k program would be good. You also want to start strength training too. There are things you can do at home without weights or with just some dumbbells.

Diet is most important to losing weight, but you say you got that under control so it looks like you are on the right track.

Take things a step at a time and be consistant (don't let little slip-ups - or big - get you off track by getting right back into it afterwards) and in 2-4 months you should see a vast improvement.

You talk about feeling depressed, you might want to take the oppurtunity to also seeing a therapist. It can be a lot of help and he or she might be able to help you with any underlying causes of your weight gain. Working-out and eating right can have a good improvement on your emotional state too.

good luck to you

30 mins of jogging/brisk walking + basic diet changes will help you lose a lot of weight, depending on your genetic makeup a diet change plus regular exercise might be all you need to reach your 150 pound goal, but it will take longer than 2-4 months.
