Loose Facial Skin (sagging)

Hi, I'm a newbie here. I lost 66 pounds a while ago and i recently regained 20 pounds of it. I'm very dissapointed in myself. I tended to bounce typically between 10 pounds but now have hit the big 20.

I'm 29 now and the initial weightloss was when i was much younger. So today i started back on my weightloss routine but for some reason i am a little scared of facial sagging. I'm not sure who put it in my head. It must be the whole nearly 30 thing. Anyone have any thoughts on this, issues , wins etc. Love to hear from you. X

It all depends on the person im sure the face will be ok i never really seen to many people "or any for that matter" with facial saggin how much do you weigh?

Thanks for your replies.:)

I weigh 136 pounds now. I started out 180 -185 pounds. I got myself down 114 held it for a few years and got lazy and have bounced. Now i am a little older i am a bit worried about the skin thing. I had never really thought about it before.

Normally i would hit the gym hard doing 6 days 1.5 hours per day of high impact cardio. Diet at 1200 -1300 caloreis to get down there fast again. I am so tempted to do this.

But i am thinking the best way now is the slow approach:
3 days high impact running (50 minute sessions)
2 days low meaning walking (1 hour sessions)
1 day of weights.
Calories 1500.

I think this would result in 1 pound to 2 pounds of weightloss per week. But its been so long since i had to do it. I want to do it right this time.

I think i'll try the moisturiser thing.

You're only 136 pounds, I don't think you have to worry about any kind of sagging as a result of your weight loss (unless you're aiming for a ridiculously low weight). How tall are you?

I'm quite petite 5'4". . I did end up with loose skin under my arms from the initial weightloss.

I had never thought about my face much until it just got in my head. Thanks everyone the reassurance helps.

Hey there,

I went from 230lbs to 130lbs after my second kid. It took 2 years to get there. Nightmare journey. Anyways, I also ahve the loose underarm skin, it is soooo weird!

But my main point is, I'm 34 now, my kids are 2 and 4. My biggest skin issue is my boobs, really nasty, I went from a 40 EE to a 34B. And I need surgery, I just cant' face it.

But the face....I wouln't say it "sags" as such, but I tell you what, I have massively obvious "marionette lines", which are the lines that join the ends of your nose to the corners of yoru mouth. THey are hideous, I hate them. But to be honest, I have also seen these marionette lines on skinny people who have never been fat in their lives, who are also my age. THe marionette lines are, in my opinion, therefore something that happens to you when the fat content in your face is low, not so much something that happens becuase you were fat and became slim.....

But I have been using exceedinly expensive anti wrinkle creme since the age of 28, either Dior or Dermalogica. It works,I tell you.....

Good luck...and btw, I've been told the marionette lines can go with "Dermafillers", which are basiclaly injections that fill the groove up, but once you start, you gotta keep getting them done every 6 months.....
