Looking for new motivation

Hello all.

I've been dieting for just over 5 months now. I've lost 65 lbs so far but I would like to lose more.

I always meant to join a forum when I started but I never did. But now as I reach 6 months into my new life style, I think this forum could help me with my motivation, meal ideas, and support.

I'm excited to be an active part of this community, and hopefully find some helpful tips. and if I can assist someone else along the way that'd be great.

wow 65lbs in 5 mths is awesome! congrats! how are you doing it?

Thanks so much! I've been keep my daily calories under 1500 daily, but I also watch fat and keep that around 15-20 grams daily. I also drink a lot of water. I started off using a great app on my phone called Lose It! that helps me count calories. I work out for 30 minutes 5 days a week.

And lastly, I let myself have a 'treat' (I don't like using the word 'cheat') meal once a week.
