Hi there. I’ve been reading many posts the last few days within this forum. I’m just starting my process, and just finished week 1 at the gym! (oh, the pain!) I just figured that I’d post a project that I was working on. I think it applies to what we’re going through.
I’ve just created something called “Dose of Inspiration”. It’s going to be a DVD sent out every month of inspiring stories and documentaries. It’s not religious, just some great thoughts to make you think a little bit about life, love, truth, courage, overcoming the odds and seemingly small things that can come along and change your life. I think it’s really going to be powerful for people to watch. I’m having people use their personal video cameras to videotape themselves telling their stories, and send them in.
I personally feel that people would love to hear stories about what it takes to lose a ton of weight. Is there someone that is really there for you? When did you decide to lose the weight? Are you inspired by someone? Did you reach your goal? What’s it like to have more energy? How has your perception of yourself changed throughout the weight loss process? Can you give advice to anyone else thinking of doing what you did?
