Looking for a bit of personalized advice

Ok so I've been looking through this site. There's a lot of good information here. But I figured I would make an account so I could maybe get some advice more tailored for my specific situation.

After some time in college, I noticed I had gained some weight. By most people's standards I was still healthy. Some people would even consider me thin. But I just wasn't satisfied because I was very fit in high school. I am about 5'7" tall. I weighed 151 pounds. So I set out with the goals of getting fit again and losing some weight to become more toned.

At first it was going very well. I lost maybe 4-5 pounds in the first 11 days. But now after about 9 pounds lost, the weight loss stalled out. I am exercising a lot. I lift moderately at least 4 or 5 times per week. I run/swim/play racquetball (one of them, sometimes two) every day. I am only eating about 2000 calories per day but I am still not losing any more weight! I know I can lose more because I can actually pinch fat around my mid section and sides.

What am I doing wrong? What else can I do to lose more weight and achieve my goal of getting toned?

Thanks!

How long has your weight loss been stalled? There may not be anything wrong. Sometimes you lose weight in steps, not in a nice smooth linear fashion.

If you weigh 151 pounds, 2000 calories might be pretty close to the maintenance calories for your weight, so don't expect any dramatic weight loss. It wouldn't hurt to cut back to about 1700 or so, if it's going too slow for you.

Go, Stillers.

You are lifting weights, and bound to be putting some muscle on, which weighs more than fat. Take measurements around thighs, hips, waist, chest and arms, and go by those to see how much fat has gone.
