Little tools that make losing more tolerable

I know for me exercise was never the big issue, my weight comes down to my diet! I don't care for fruits and vegetables, and typically will only eat them if they've already been cut up for me.

One tool I've found really helpful in helping me eat better was the Apple Corer Peeler Slicer.

I normally HATE apples, but this makes them good and delicious and of course the best part about it is that fact that it's easy! While it may seem insignificant, it does two things for me.

1. Helps me get one extra serving of Fruit per day (I'm trying to follow the Canada's food guide for nutritional purposes).

2. Helps me overcome my need for crunchies.

What about you? Do you have any little tools that make weight loss more tolerable?

I won't eat apples otherwise. It's not something I can/even want to force because it for one reason or another hurts my teeth. :biggrinjester:

But what I'm looking for in this thread, is other people's little tools

edit: To be fair, you could take the peeling blade off if you really wanted to eat the peel.

My computer. Being able to log my calories online and keep track that way has helped immeasurably . Also being able to look up information on exercises and weight lifting - to go to youtube and see examples of proper form is also incredibly helpful.

Stuff that makes weight loss tolerable/fun:

Diet: Sucralose, Spices and herbs, olive oil, whey+casein (meats getting boring if overdone), and cheat meal once a week.

Workout: Weight Training, alternating between treadmills and parks, and moving around all day long.

Mental: Photographing and logging my progress, reading/watching physical transformations, setting weekly/monthly/yearly goals and achieving them, compliments I get on my weight loss from people around me, reading nutrition/weight loss/bodybuilding stuff online, and being part of this forum.
