Where do I start? I understand the desire for a quick fix, but faking the way your body looks sort of feels like cheating to me. (I'm guy...so.... I might not get it.... whatever) Also, for the most part, these things don't really ever seem to hide weight as well a woman might think.
One last thing. that really irks me. SKIN TIGHT JEANS MAKE WOMEN LOOK TRASHY. There I said it. Maybe I'll start a flame war, but I'm old school and I believe a little modesty and self respect go a long way. PS. I'm not a sexist or a guy with double standards. In theory, dream denims should look like jeans and work like Spanx, simultaneously slimming your waist while boosting your backside. That's the idea behind Levi's new Revel denim line, which the company claims can actually alter the wearer's shape.

But rather than using visible reinforced panels, we use the application of the liquid-stretch technology. The result is a jean that carves out the inner thigh, slims and smoothes the outer thigh, lifts the seat and flattens the tummy."
This technology is not the only trick up Levi's' pant leg. To further enhance the slimming effect, the brand employed techniques used by the late, great celebrity makeup artist Kevyn Aucoin, for help with the placement of seams and whiskering details. "We looked at Kevyn Aucoin's books and how he made cheekbones look higher or noses look smaller," Guenza told WWD. "The seams we applied to our jeans act in concert to make the leg look longer and slimmer, the seat perkier and to move the eye away from the hips."
The Revel line will hit the Web on August 4, and then to stores internationally. The jeans are being made in indigo and black washes in three current Curve ID styles: slight, demi, and bold, depending on your desired level of shape enhancement. They'll all be available in both skinny- and straight-leg silhouettes and will retail for $98 to $128.
