why do you want to count calories; this is for life, right?
you need to eat most of your calories/meals from fresh fruits and veggies and whole grains. after that you need lean protein.
how does counting calories get you there?
by counting calories, you could eat someting like a candy bar for example, or an order of french fries, and then try to balance it out by not anyting else much all day..and probably still gain weight, or fail because you'd be hungry.....
i don't see how that's a life plan of healthy eating and good nutrition...
