Let's Lose Some Weight!!! =]

For some reason every single time I consider losing weight I binge on a food like doughnuts saying "This is the last time" I always lie to myself and willingly fall into the lull of those 5 words hehe. Just finished eating 4 doughnuts and I'm ready to approach a lifestyle change again.

Sorry I haven't introduced myself yet lol, you can call me Jared (not the subway one mind you, though free subway for life would make losing weight easier!), I'm 18 years old, 159 lbs, 5'8, I have a bit of muscle under my fat hehe.

Here's the gist of my story, the long short of it lol,

I used to live in a tropical environment, Honolulu Hawaii specifically, and I was having the time of my life! Senior year in high school, temperatures in the warm 70's, days at the beach, walking absolutely everywhere, and just having fun!

Unfortunately I didn't get along so well with my mom whom is divorced from my father, so I left Hawaii to live with my dad. My father lives (and I do to now) in Wisconsin. The weather here leaves me cold day and night and I eat to compensate for not feeling warm it really sucks! At the peak of my weight lifting career in high school my max benchpress was 255 lbs weighing 140 lbs.

I've put on about 20 lbs, and lost all my muscle since graduating from high school, work at a factory has placed me in a sedentary lifestyle because I don't have the energy to work out and work at my job, depression has really set in causing my acne to spike like crazy, I once had clear skin like in this pic: (me on the left) , but now I'm riddled with pimples from stress along with guy tit's now that I've lost my defined pectorals...

It's a real downer seeing all you worked for melt away, but I'm determined to not only return to my old self, but to surpass it!

I want to have a body like this!

That's my goal!

I'm not sure how I can do it while working at the factory 5 days a week 8 hours a day... I need help from a support group, and I want to help you guys out too! So I hope we can be friends!

Hi, you may begin with a friend, and you can motivate with each other.

Wrote down your goal on many papers with details something like “loose every week 2 pounds” to “I must eat less” and stick it everywhere (bedroom, fridge, bathroom …).

Drink a lot of water ( 3 L per day) and forget all kind of fast food.

Every day when get up, do some exercise etc.

Now you can begin from your kitchen/fridge, all the stuff like soda, cookies, chocolate etc. should not in your kitchen.

A 40 hour work week is pretty normal. I'm not sure I see what the problem is there.

When it's cold outside you can do calisthenics indoors. That will warm you up. Or do what I did. Put on a pair of long underwear and a heavy winter coat and go outside anyway.

Welcome. I am sure that you do have a lot of muscle under the fat. It is impossible not to because you are carrying so much weight. It requires muscle to get that around. Here is something that you can start doing right now.

Drink 2 12 ounce glass of water before any meal. This is good because it curbs the appetite and you are less likely to eat more. Also drink 1 12 ounce glass of water before and small meal or snack.

You need the water to lose weight and is the first system to turn your body into a fat burning system.

The MOST important thing is to get your body to burn the fat for you by living smart.
