Leaving Hershey!!!

hey everybody, way to go penquin!!! Just curious, how is everybodies weight loss?\

I have a problem :( I can't get motivated to walk, I go out, and just can't do it. I don't know why, I just can't...so I am trying to do exercises inside, but can't think of any exercises to do inside, and I dont have an exercise tape. Well, I guess what im tryin to get down to is, does anybody have any ideas? It would really help :( Well, hope to hear from yall soon!!

I forgot to tell ya but on Saturday I walked at the park 1.25 Miles, and today I went after work and walked another 1.25 miles:)
I will keep my signature current- But I have a question?
I have to walk after work so- Do I eat dinner before or after the walk?What is healthier for you.I am nervous that if I eat first, I will get Lazy and not go.Then If I eat after the walk, then I eat close to bed! HELP:p
 
Okay, so I only walked 1 mile yesterday, so that makes our total from 38.15 to 39.15!!! I will do better today, I feel it! Everyone is doing great. T&E, I have a big problem about getting out for a few reasons. One I live in Germany where it always rains, and while my 3 year old is okay with it, I hate getting my 8 mo (oops 9 months old as of yesterday :( )out in poor weather. Even when DH is home, who wants to go out in the rain for a walk when it is windy and in the 40's!?! I have an exercise ball that I do alot with. You can even get some pretty good cardio going on it, situps, stretches, upper body, lower body, ect. Then ofcourse I always get a little run in around the house chasing my 3yo after she steals it from me!!! When I'm cooking dinner and standing in one place for a while, I've even started to do heel lifts - I swear at one point I had muscle definition in those calves! I always try to multi task when I can - then I don't feel like I'm putting so much time into exercising!

As for your walk/supper question, it's really a matter of preference. I like to eat before I walk because I have more energy and I feel like I'm burning some of the food I just ate off. But if you're less likely to walk after you've gotten comfy & eaten supper then that might not be good for you. Try walking at a different time, like early in the morning?

I havn't walked for like 2 days yikes! Well i just wanted to check in and let you guys know i am going to the y in about 1 hour.

Kdel, i like to eat after i walk, if i eat before i get sick. That might just be more, or the speed i am going.
 
KDEL~I also eat after i walk because if u walk before right after you eat, not only are u more likely to get sick, it burns off carbs instead of fat, i mean either is good, but if ur wanting to lose fat, walk before you eat. Just what I have always heard on the beach body thing :) Ok, and thats an amazing total you guys, great job!
 
Just walked part of a mile, about .8 miles. Makes our new total 46.45

Hmmm.. I didn't know that you should eat after your walk.. dang..lol I'll have to remember that tomorrow.

I might have missed somthing...but how does that add up to 46.45? when it was 41.65, and you walked .8 miles shouldnt that be 42.45?

...maybe i am wrong :confused:

Well i walked 2.6 miles today...i will wait till you post back till i total it up...
 
LOL.. your right. Think it was a bit of a typo.. sorry!!! Good thing you caught that. :eek: *slinks away in basic math shame*...lol

New total is 45.45 with H's mileage.
 
OK, OK I get it now! silly me:rolleyes: Today I messed up and ate Carl's Jr. Spicy chicken sandwich with no mayo. So out of shame I walked after that Boo Boo. But now I don't feel so bad:eek: But I walked 1.25 miles tonight. So that makes 49.3 sweet I can add!!:D LOL
