Late night eating

thats a myth. its more about total calories consumed vs burned over the course of they day than about calories consumed at night.

Well you shouldn't eat hi GI carbs before bed. Eat atleast some protein, so that your body will use that protein before your muscles for its energy.

I have a hard time drinking all the water I need throughout the day. I keep a log on my diet and excercise now and if I haven't gotten enough water by the end of the day I down abunch before bed. (at least 10 cups a day I've heard is good)

Lately I've had trouble trying to find somthing healthy to eat before bed. Ate some kinda trail mix last night had to pick out abunch of m&m's in it though, lol.

Cottage cheese, brotha! Cottage cheese before bed....it's amazing!

I hate those wonderful little m&m's. :( I want chocolate, but NO! Chocolate is the devil in disguise.

i drink about a gallon of water each day. i have a desk job so i always have my water bottle on my desk and refill and drink from it all during the day.

my last bottle is at 6:30pm as i'm in bed for 8pm roughly ;)

I think if you really have bad hunger pangs at night, drink some water and go to bed. I personally try not to eat after 8 PM.

I have been trying to eat right, and it's going... "ok" One thing I noticed though is that I get hungry around 10pm. I eat dinner around 6pm and really want to stay away from food after dinner. What can you guys recommend to snack on late at night that won't do too much domage (last night I had a full plate of chow mein - oops!)?
Eating before bed is very good, especially if you don't have morning breakfast.

I always get the post sex munchies right befoer bed, and cottage cheese is always the answer. If you don't like the taste of it, there are lots of ways to dress it up a bit.

To those of you who are getting up to pee three or four times a night you probably are NOT getting enough sodium. With all the healthy food (vegtables and lean protein) you are may have starved your self of salts that help with water retension. Take in just a little bit more sodium (its not heard to come by) and you won't have this problem.
