knee issue

I have slightly bowed legs and have been getting slight pain on the inner knee. I get the pain when i do squats ( with no weight). I'm wondering would i be best to use the services of a physio of is this something that could fix with particular exercises.
 
The safe answer is it could be a physical/medical problem that requires a doctor's care. But, I get sore muscles just above and inside of my knee from doing squats. It could be your musculature is underdeveloped. How long does the pain last? Is it your knee (ligaments) or the muscles around the knee? The saf
