So Wikipedia defines flexatarianism as "a semi-vegetarian diet focusing on vegetarian food with occasional meat consumption."
I figure I can do this until I can become a full fledged veg. I've never liked the taste of meat, with the exception of some New York Strip which I LOVE. heh. (WORCESTERSHIRE!) but I'm anemic, and when my iron gets low I turn pale white, my lips turn purple and I pass out. =S! But I figure if I do the flexatarianism thing for a while while taking iron and fish oil supplements I'll be able to be a vegetarian again without almost dying.
Is fish oil considered meat?
I'm on day 3 of my lifestyle change. Its really hard. I messed up bad yesterday but I'm back on the pony. I ate an entire half of an 18 inch double cheese pizza. =S
But thats still less than what I would have been eating. I weighed my self this morning and I weigh 283 pounds, so even though I ate all that I still lost a pound in 2-3 days, so I'm happy
I stopped drinking pop, it may not sound like much but it is probably the hardest thing I've done in my whole life. I used to drink at least 5 Dr. Peppers a day, at 150 calories apeice. I'm trying to stick to my 2,300 calories a day for a few months then I'm gonna decrease it down to 2,100.
I love this forum, it is really helpful. I've been doing good so far but I'm staying on it this time.
