I have been eating right, but it is not good enough. I still have to take out some of the bad elements.
I have decided to do two things.

1. Take Milk and Sugar out. Any combination of milk with other stuff, like coffee/tea/oatmeal and similar stuff. (Curd is okay tho).
(If am offered tea/coffee at a guest's place, I will refuse it but if situation warrants I will take it)
2. Take Green salad for a meal. Preferably breakfast. If I miss it it the morning I will replace my lunch or dinner for it. Once a day is the idea.
Going forward we can make it twice a day, that's a bit too much huh?. Let us see if am able to do this first.

I have many additions to propose here but I am always overwhelmed by doing many stuff at the same time. So will keep tabs on the above two. I had my morning coffee today just now and a breakfast which was nutritious and organic. My last ones. Here goes nothin... :D.

I like both of those choices. As an adult, milk isn't a necessity. Does it taste good? Yeah, I think it's delicious. However, there's no scientific evidence that supports milk as a necessary food for an adult other than for it's calcium benefits. Other than that, it's just a lot of carbohydrates...just like sugar. Eliminating both of those things will help cut out a ton of carbs and help you lose weight.

Salad once a day is also a great idea. That's what I'm currently doing and it's working out great. The first few days kind of sucks, but your body quickly gets used to it and having a salad is actually a great way to cut calories and get some fiber into your diet.

Good job making some good choices!!!

Week 2, day 6,

35 minutes of Jump Rope done.

Felt too tired. So, I kept it at 35. There is still 4 hours to the end of the day. If I do the rest of the 25 minutes I will log here.

Congratulations on getting back on track!

Having a big (but healthy) breakfast really changed my eating habits - I rarely make bad food choices anymore during the day when the mind is too busy to keep the diet and everything else in check. Evenings are still tricky though ;)

I'd urge you to not just have green salad for breakfast and look up when and what to eat before and after exercise as well. Got to have good fuel in you to keep being awesome.

Okay, I am back now. I wanted to get onto WLF and log in my progress again. I quit jumping rope and was trying to kickstart P90x workout routine. I bought the weights and the necessary stuffs long back and finding it hard to start it and even when I started I lasted only a week with the program.

Jump rope was more natural for my style, more effortless. Now that I think about it, I love jump rope more, made me feel better, sped up my metabolism and feel good about myself and what not. I just sifted thru the pages of this thread and was surprised to see how jump rope was close to my heart.

Anyways. I have realized that having a shabby workout routine is better than having no workout routine. Having said that, having a perfect routine is better than having a shabby workout routine, once am already good with doing that shabby workout routine in a consistent manner in the first place.

Not working out is bad. Working out bad is better than not working out. On this note, I wanna log in everyday onto the journal and post stuffs relating to me working out. I just wanna bring in some accountability to the table. I wanna log what I did, workout wise, for the day and if I did nothing, I wanna log that as well, just to remind myself of the fact that I have to have this part of my life, working out, and that it is essential and not optional.

I am thinking of doing P90x mainly, but for started I will settle with just moving my ass workout wise. I don't want to pass days without workout or without proper diet.

Okay, The goal now.

I am a bit chubby, weighing at 91.5/92 kgs now. Previously I was able to lose 10kgs, but that was like two/three years back.

My target weight after year or two is at 60 kilos. I am around 6 feet but I don't know the exact number for sure. That is a shame though.

I am looking to get consistent with the workouts rather than weight-loss targets. If am consistent working out and eating right, weight-loss shouldn't be a problem.

I usually give serious thought to weightloss, begin and routine and everything tapers off from there, I lose perspective and get back in the rut again. I gotta keep trying thought right????

Will log everything from here on. Any workout and diet.

Here goes nothin....
