Hello everyone, I figured I would start a Weight Loss Diary here so I could give myself some accountability for my new lifestyle. A couple weeks ago at work I had a wellness screening where they draw blood and send it to a lab to see whats going on inside me. I am still awaiting the results but it was a big wake up call to me that I need to change my unhealthy lifestyle. For starters, I bring my on healthy lunch to work with me now. I have also started a routine of going to the gym on a regular bases. My current weight is 355lbs but I am not sure what my overall goal weigh will be. I just want to get in shape and live a healthier lifestyle. I just got back from the gym tonight and I am getting ready to go to bed since I have work in the morning.

Welcome to the forum! If you're like me, you'll find there are some really motivating posts on here! Most all of us are starting on a similar journey to yours...some of us have a longer to go than others, but we're all on the same road (you don't just register to a weightloss and nutrition forum by accident!)

I started my journey back on 1 June 2011 and so far, so good (started at 269 lbs, currently around 207, on my way to 150) and trying to do it in a healthy way and change my lifestyle so that it is a sustainable me when I finally reach my goal weight (which is high school graduation weight...or somewhere close to it). I look forward to reading your posts in the future and helping you any way I can!
