hey guys and girls. My name is Adam. just turned 26. I'm 6'1" 235-lbs. construction worker. A lot of my extra weight(gut and moobs) came from eating so unhealthy all the time and eating until i felt bloated.

I'm disgusted with myself when I look in the mirror now and I want to change it. I want to get down to a fit weight. I'm not say ripped right off that bat but down to a healthy weight with no love handles, gut, or moobs. I haven't set a goal weight yet and I'm not sure what i should set it for. whats the average weight for my height? i was thinking 185-190 but I'm not sure.

I signed up under the belly off pro at mensfitness. I like the workouts and just started them but the whole eating plan doesn't fit my time schedule.
I'm on the move all the time thus the weight in the first place from fast food and junk food.

i hope to drop this weight and learn to eat healthier and be more active than just my job. would like the hear some success stories. Thanks, Adam

theflatlander,

Good for you man! Nice to hear from a fellow big guy. I am 6'4" and weighed 315lbs at the start of my journey. I am now 219lbs and still going. If you have any questions or just need support let me know. I wish you luck in your journey. If you dedicate yourself to it you will hit your goal weight. I think 180-195 would be perfectly healthy for you.

Hey Adam... welcome! You're headed in the right direction. Sensible dieting and regular exercise is what it's all about. Everything else is just "improvements" along the way. Get started and don't look back.
