Just starting

Hey everyone. 19 years old, just under 5' 11'', and 145 lbs. when I weighed myself about a month ago. Been in school for almost a year for Computer Science and haven't done any sort of physical activity since I started.

So here I am. I just started running a mile and biking for 12 minutes daily. It takes me about 10 minutes to run a mile (running 50%, walking 15%, then running the rest). I should continue this through at least the summer. Something I'm kind of embarrassed about is that I'm doing curls as well, but I can't handle more than 3 sets of 10 reps on 15 lb. weights.

Sad? I know, but that's why I joined up. To get some advice from people here who are knowledgeable and get results.

Goals:
-visible 6-pack
-less than 10% body fat
-run 2 miles in < 20 minutes
-healthier eating habits
-bench at least my body weight

Sorry for the long introduction, just figured I'd get it out of the way here.
 
Welcome. Your goals are reasonable, with the possible exception of the six pack which has a genetic component.
 
Im pretty much in the same boat as you right now Tony, I havent actually clocked how far I run or how long it takes me but I try to keep at it as much as i can. Keep at it and Im sure you'll see results just make frequent visits back here everyone seems to be pretty knowledgeable and friendly enough to give their advice.
