Hey everyone, just signed up here, looking forward to being a part of the community and hearing stories/getting support from the other members here.

I'm just a few months from turning 21 years old, 6'1" tall, and I weigh probably around 225 pound. Doesn't sound too bad, right? Well, out of all that 225 pounds, virtually none of it is muscle weight, it's mostly just extra weight. I have a pretty good sized gut that I'm trying to get rid of. Let me tell you a bit about why I'm trying to get rid of it...

First and foremost, I'm doing for my health. I've always been a husky guy and I'm starting to witness the ill-effects my habits of the last 20 years. I can't so much as walk to the store without being winded and sometimes get dizzy spells out of nowhere.

Secondly, I want more than anything to realize my dream of being a professional wrestler. It's been a dream of mine since I watched my first wrestling show 13 years ago. I'm not just a fan in the normal sense of the word... I analyze each match I watch and study every move the wrestlers perform. I take mental notes of how they fall, how they react to moves, even how well they speak during their promos. It's my biggest passion.

Finally, a pro wrestling school has opened in a town just a few hours away from me, and I see this as my one opportunity to really go for it. The first step is getting rid of this excess weight and gaining muscle.

So, what's my first step on this site? I see there's a spot for "diaries". I suppose that would be a good start. Explain my story a little more and such.

Hey there and welcome. A diary is definitely a good step but reading through the stickies is also immensely helpful. Good luck on weight loss as well as your wrestling dream!

Hi, we are glad to have you part of the group. Health is the greatest reason we should watch our weight and eat healthy. You will get lots of support and motivation on this forum, but the work is up to you. Good Luck!!!

If you make it to WWE boot camp you will have to be able to run in a circle 5 miles at a time (hard!). They make you do endless squats and push ups; they do this to weed out the weak links. If you are lucky to make it to the next day you do falls and bumps all day (You will have bruises, and bruises on your bruises). Next day they will have you doing basic stuff( hitting the ropes, more falling, moves custom to your built and looks). Forth day psychology: Good guy (baby face) or bad guy (a heel). Three days of hades!!

Good Luck to you!!

Welcome again to the forum.
