Just signed up for Lady of America Gym and

Today had my first workout

Ok i started out with a 20 minute cardio on the treadmill to "warmup"

then i moved over to work on my lower body

i did 3,10 rep on the quad machine which works the thighs

then i did 4 , 10 reps on the knee qural?

tommorow im going back to do basically the same thing but this time to work the upper body

any suggestions

First Workout?

Is this your first workout ever or just at that gym? I would get with a personal trainer if you can at the gym that can show you the basics.

Congrats on the first workout!

I would do a 5 minute warm up and then do weights. I would end with cardio. This allows you to put all of your energy into lifting the heaviest amount of weight possible.

Heavy weights = Fat loss

Heavy weights DO NOT equal freaky massive muscle gain for women ;)


Getting a trainer or a detailed fitness/nutrition plan is an excellent idea. It will ensure your success and give you results safer and quicker. Good luck and congrats again!!
