Hi I'm new to the weight loss forum.

Have been on a diet for the last four weeks. Am attending my Physician who is helping me. I am also having hypnotherapy, just to help me get started, which I find very good as it is changing my mindset on food.

Okay, so I have ALOT to lose. I get weighed in every second Friday and so far I have lost 10lbs. Not a huge amount, but at least the scales are going the right direction. I have started exercising also, so hopefully, that will help shift the pounds every week.

Wait for it, I have to lose another 70lbs. I am currently 196lbs and my BMI is 37 which is really really bad. Anyway, I want to lose 70lbs. Its gonna be a long winding road, and I really hope I will get some encouragement here.

Has anyone any advice on how to get started here, so that I can keep track.
