Hi guys,

My name is Chris, I am 21 and weight approximately 15 1/2 stone. I used to be very active when at school playing sports and swimming alot, as soon as I went to University my healthy lifestyle was ruined.

I am going into my final year at university and have just moved into a new apartment with a free gym, it is very well equipped with all the major cardio machines and many resistance machines. I feel this is my opportunity that I have been putting off for a long time to loose weight.

I was hoping for some help in nutrition. I am quite a picky eater and I am not 100% sure between the good foods and the junk foods except to avoid junk food.

Thanks for reading :)

Chris

Hey there! As far as avoiding junk food, I would suggest you look at your current eating habits and think about healthier choices you can substitute. For example, if you eat Pop Tarts or waffles with syrup for breakfast, try a bowl of whole wheat cereal or yogurt and a piece of fruit instead.

If you regularly eat at fast food restaurants, try to cut back, or substitute healthier choices when you eat out.

Good luck with your endeavor to lose weight. Looking forward to hearing your progress!
