Just me - I'm Heather

Hey guys,

My name is Heather. I live in Tennessee. I'm 20 (21 in August) and I started the Body for Life plan June 3rd. It's great so far. I can tell I'm getting stronger and for my cardio I can already Run to hit my High point! (After only a few times of running) So far for my 12 week Challenge with this I have lost 8 pounds of fat and gained 1 pound of muscle. My starting weight was 280.5. And right now I'm at 272.5. I can't wait to see how this turns out!

I'm mostly on this forum to see how other people are losing weight, to encourage and to be encouraged and stay focused!

Hi.. Just wanted to wish you good luck! I know its had tho.. At my highest I was over 400lbs at age of 16 but have been maintaining at aound 170-160lbs since age 18...Now at 28, I knew I'd let things slide to say the least for the past 6 months, but was totally SHOCKED to see 272lbs! on the scale at GNC yesteday, i thought mybe 230lbs but unfortunately my guess was like almost 50lbs off... Anyways, goodluck and congratulations on the lbs u aleady lost-please contine posting any updates if that system ur tring continues to work, as I may try it myself! Take care!!
 
It's definitely hard, but I know doing this will make me a stronger person, mentally AND physically. I've already proven to myself I can start this, now I just have to finish it, and I can do anything ^_^. This is a great system, and out of the diets I've read up on, makes the most sense to me. It's all about gaining lean muscle mass to help burn fat as efficiently as possible. With a diet meant to give your body exactly what it needs to promote muscle growth.
