Hello everyone! I am new here and just thought i would introduce myself to you here!
I have been struggling with my weight over the last few years but when I was in high school I was very active playing two sports, football and soccer. By the end of my senior year of high school I weighed about 175 pounds.
My freshman year of college that 175 turned into 205 and by my junior year of college I had peaked near 260 pounds. I started to work on losing weight and managed to get as low as 227 by 2007, however, I began to gain weight again and by September 2010 I was back up to 256 pounds.
Since then, I have been able to get myself back down to around 234 pounds or so as of today and have even started working with a personal trainer about 2 weeks ago and plan to keep up with that at least through July (only way I could get the price lower lol).
Through all this I have started becoming more aware of counting calories and watching what I put in, etc...but it seems that I have started to plateau off. It is starting to get frustrating because I am not seeing the results I want even though I have been working hard at losing weight including starting to try to have things scheduled during the week to keep me active.
Currently with my schedule, I am working out at the gym on Mondays and Wednesdays and play Tennis on Tuesdays. I will probably extend the gym workouts to Fridays as well and need to come up with something for Thursdays.
My goal is to be around 190-200 though by the beginning of July. I will be on a cruise by then and I want to make sure that I look good.
Anyway, wish me luck and if you all have any advice that you would like to throw my way I would more than appreciate that. I know I am already debating going to the gym twice a day (use part of my lunch break) and get like 20 minutes of cardio in during the regular weekday before my other weekly activities.
