Hi everyone,
My name is Jeanette and just joined minutes ago.
I am 42 mom of 5 teenagers and wife to a great man.
I am here to get support to help with weight loss, I am 5'4 180 pounds and want to lose 30-40 pounds but I want to do it slow and steady with changing my eating habits and exercise. I just joined weight watchers but have been exercising consitantly for the past 2 months. I have been losing a few inches and I know that is great but my pounds will not melt. I hear it comes with time so here I am. I need a place to come to keep me going and not give in because the scale doesn't say what I want it too.

I'm 5'4" & right at 180lbs myself so I feel your pain. but I'm 30 & mother of none so I have to admire you are doing this & all that at the same time. I imagine life with 5 teens can be a challenge! :) Sounds like you have accomplished a lot so far in getting consistent with the workouts.

You should try a challenge. There is a holiday one about to start & it could help you with inspiration/motivation & a general kick in the tush when you need it. Also is a great way to meet all the supportive people on here.

Glad you found the site & good luck. Slow & steady wins the race right?
