Just joined=) lost 87 pounds so far!!!!

Hi everyone!!! Im new here.....Im hoping to get advice and help others on their journey =) I joined the ymca march 2009 at 226 pounds....i currently am 139....But i need help!!!! cant get these last few pounds off ...and kinda relapsing on my healthy eating =( how to get back on track!!!!!!!???? i need to jumpstart my diet again or something!!!! also could msybe use a little help on navigating forum/...lol...i think its awesome i can talk to people...do i just go to their thing and reply to them....and wait for people to resond to mine?

You should totally be giving me tips! Im 224.. i only want to get down to 155, but that seems impossible for me! Besides the ymca, how did you do it? lol sorry im no help to you.. (new also)
 
hi yonnabelle.... im glad im getting to to talk to others on here...i ve only been on about a week...i wish i would of found this site sooner=) but if i can be of any help let me know=) the ymca did a story on me in the newsletter about my weight loss....that was pretty good feeling... you are exactly where i was when i started my journey....and trust me u can do it girl!!!! today i bought some new shorts and a size 2!!!!!!!! i cant even believe it myself. i didnt think it was possibleto get so tiny...i was a size16 when i started...besides the gym , it takes alot of hard hard hard hard self control with food. its hard for me cuz i love food. butu gotta change what u eat. some of the things i do are....no fast food at all....i eat alot of yougart, fruit, whole wheat high fiber stufff, chicken n veggies for dinner....if u eat salad watch out for the dreesings....go low fat or oil n vinigar....if i get a sweet tooth ill eat frosted mini wheats...skim milk, and a biggggg one is i dont eat after 830pm. and i pretty much eat breakfast,lunch,dinner, and if i snack its fruit or cerealthroug the whole journey ive always only lost about 2 pounds a week....which is good. if u dink soda...go diet...annd i added you to my friends...i know i wish i had this when i was starting...its nice to talk about it...also i keep a journal...before pictures, i weigh in every friday and record it....just gives me stuff to do. and i also do a body composition at the ymca where they measure and do percent fat n stuff and it gives me a target goal to reach and when i reach it ill do another body comp and set a new goal....do u go to a gym? what r u doin and eating?
