Just joined! Can't wait to start losing!

Hi everyone! My name is Tasha, I am a stay at home mom. I am 5'11, weighing in at 190 lbs and I want to lose 30 lbs. I just started walking 5 days a week, I have been taking my 2 year old daughter to the park and walking for about 45 minutes. I have also been trying to eat healthier! I am joining to see what works for other people and to get some support from others losing weight!
 
Hi Tasha! I'm a newbie here as well.

Good for you for getting out there and walking with your little one and eating healthier! I don't have enough money (or a sitter!) to attend a gym, so I have been doing workout videos at home. I started two weeks ago and am starting to see improvement. Have you checked out FitDay (free!) yet? I started using that to track what I am eating. That has been an awesome tool for me! You should check it out :)

Just from browsing this forum today, I have found many awesome tips and lots of motivation! You could even say I have fallen in love!

Im new here too and I look forward to coming to this forum every day...sometimes more, just to keep up my motivation.
