A little bit about me:
(1) I'm a competitive athlete, a hockey player. These days, though, I'm not really competing much against anything but my own standards and constant desire to improve. I'm thankful that I get to spend so much time on the ice, my sanctuary. :canadaf:
(2) I'm the one you see in the gym, racking and unracking my weights, focusing on my sets, updating my spreadsheet, and only cracking a smile during my rest period (at the wacky people who seem to spend more time chatting than lifting). I'm not a lifter. I just fake it pretty well.
(3) To me, it's not what your body looks like that matters. It's what it can DO! Performance is everything. If high performance happens to come with all that nice body stuff, well, then...who's gonna complain?
I've been reading articles and information online from various fitness, training, or lifting sites. I have quite a bit of experience with this in the real world. This is the first time I've actually registered and considered getting more active (ha-ha!) in the online community. And if you can help me perfect a recipe for the best protein bar ever, you will have made a friend for life...
