Just found this site - Hello!

I'm 40 and trying to get back in shape like a lot of other people.
I started changing my eating habits and exercising more.
I was 216 in April, and just got down to 199 recently. It is good to be under 200 again! My goal is to get down to 175. I think my weight loss is kind of stalling at 199-200. I have a Smith machine at home as well as a treadmill. I've cut down on my calories and am trying to eat natural foods, low carbs, high protein, lots of water and take a multivitamin. I'm working on trying to save up for an exercise bike and rowing machine because the treadmill is a little hard on my knees. Well I don't want to ramble too much, just a quick intro. Welcome! I'm new too :). Looking to lose 50 lbs and/or be a size 8. Long road ahead of me.... had a baby a year ago and things went to complete hell. I am here for support and to support others. :)

I almost envy you - you only need to lose 50 pounds. Try needing to lose 245 pounds (that's where I started off). I still need to lose 219 pounds, it sounds daunting but I look at it like this - I just need to lose five pounds. Then when I lose five pounds I say it again - I just need to lose five pounds. So that each step of the way is only looking at five pounds and then five more pounds. The same can help you, don't think about "Oh man, I have to lose 50 pounds" cause that may seem like a lot. Just lose 5 pounds, 10 times. :) *hugs*
