Just an introduction I guess!

Hey everybody!

My name is Kate, i'm 20 years old and just starting to get fit. When I began it was all about losing weight and looking good, but I've actually started to appreciate fitness as a whole and am constantly looking up exercise techniques online...I always stumbled across forums and decided, why not join one!

So I guess that's all for now. My main goal is to be able to run a 5K but of course I need to lose weight. I would love to meet some new people on here who share the same goals.

I've lost about 21lbs in total since last September. It's been a slow process but it happened mainly because I changed my life style and walked more.

Now i'm ready to finish this and have about 33-35lbs to go til I reach my goal weight. I'm slightly annoyed cause I haven't lost anything in the past 2 weeks. I'm eating right and going to the gym almost everyday (and taking rest days).

I hope I can get over this plateau soon...it's kind of wrecking my motivation to keep at it :(
