i got a weighted vest for christmas
and i was wondering if jumping rope with small weight is good for building calve muscles, or simpy good just to increase the workout.
i started at 8lbs and added slowly up to 12lbs now at 1lb incriments.
i do HIIT jumprope where i jump normally for 30 seconds and then do 30 seconds of high jumps(calve jumps) as high as i can. i do it for around 10-12 minutes.
is this an ok form of calve workout and is it dangerous to my joints??? i have under 10% added body weight with the vest since im 150lbs. its basically like if i was jumping rope when i am 162lbs(150+12lbs from the vest)
