Hello honey
I'm in! I set myself July as my target the other day when thinking about weight-loss. It's my 30th birthday then, and I reeeeeeeeeeally want to be 9st 0lbs, oh to see that elusive '0lbs' mark!! I haven't weighed that since I was about 16 lol
To set the scene, I'm 5'4" and currently 9st 12lbs. I was 9st 9lb just before visiting family for a week over Christmas and came back at 10st 2lbs!!! Shocking damage in 1 week. My heaviest was 11st 5lbs in 2001, but I got a job in a gym (free membership and fitness instructor friends) and met my boyfriend so I brought my weight down to 9st 7lbs by about 2005. I generally sit in the half stone bracket of 9st 7lbs - 10st, size 10 - 12. At the moment I'm just pleased to be back under the 10st mark and into the 9's again!
But this time I want to go under 9st 7lbs. Obviously I will be happy to get there again, but the lowest I've ever seen in my adult life has been 9st 4lbs (two occasions lol!) 9st 0lb (128lbs) is safe for my height and would give me a perfect BMI of 21.6, instead of my current 24.
Anyway sorry for rambling!! But good work on the exercising, I'm convinced that is the key! I went for a run on Weds night (3 miles, nearly froze to death at first but then felt quite strong), did a fitness video for over and hour yesterday (I can highly recommend the Ministry of Sound 'Pump it Up' DVD!), and going for a run tonight and then have a 1hr aerobics class on Tuesday. We are having weekly weigh-ins at my work every Wednesday, so hopefully this will all make a difference to last weeks shameful 10st 2lbs reading!! Having my boss see my weight is quite motivating!
Isn't the curiosity about your weight driving you crazy? You're only going to weigh once a month? I weigh every morning with scales that show fat and water % content too! Good luck with your next workout, and I think being active in your job each day is going to be a great help to you. I have a desk job but walk half hour there and back so 1 hr of exercise there which I guesshelps.
Anyway must stop typing!! Sorry! First post and very motivated!!

Keep updating your progress I shall be keeping an eye out for you!
